Emphasis on student professional development. Discussions of professional opportunities, resources, and ethics. Professionals from the public and private sectors introduce students to career options in marine, earth and atmospheric sciences. Strategies for finding jobs and graduate programs. Students reflect on future career goals and plans. For MEAS majors only.

Title  and semester change:  This course was previously required in the senior year of our curricula and the name reflected that timing.  Student feedback has been strong that the course comes too late given they must start to apply for jobs and graduate programs early in their senior year.  We are encouraging students to take the course in the second semester of their junior year so that they can begin their searches better prepared.  Changing the title from Senior Seminar to Junior Seminar will help academic advisers communicate with students and avoid confusion.

Course Description: We are questing a typo fix and that the restriction statement display in the catalog description.
