University Catalog 2024-2025

Arts Studies (Minor)

Description

The College of Humanities and Social Sciences offers an academic minor in Arts Studies to all NC State undergraduate majors. This interdisciplinary minor is designed to enrich the student’s university experience, to serve as a foundation for learning and understanding in the arts beyond the university years and to provide a line of thinking and skill development that may contribute to the development provided by the student’s courses in the major or that may be only loosely related to the major. This minor provides the student with a fundamental understanding of the historical, theoretical and practical disciplines of the arts. No courses for the minor may be taken for S/U credit. Go to Add a Minor to apply.
